Workshops & Retreats

In 2007, I traveled to the island of Cumbrae outside of Glasgow, Scotland to study the Amherst Writers and Artists Method with the poet/writer, Patricia Lee Lewis. Since then, I have used this method in all the workshops and retreats that I lead. I believe it designates the gold standard upon which all workshops thrive. To hone craft, explore and discover material in a supportive environment—all of this—makes how and what I teach deeply satisfying. I have had the opportunity to welcome writers from throughout the USA and Canada, Germany, England, Greece, the Netherlands, and the continent of Australia. I have hosted writing retreats in the USA, Greece, France, England, the Czech Republic, and Portugal.
